This holiday season, take a deep dive into women’s history.
Join the Heinz History Center for an evening filled with delicious drinks and engaging conversations featuring the curators behind the dynamic exhibition, A Woman’s Place: How Women Shaped Pittsburgh.
History Center President and CEO Andy Masich will join A Woman’s Place exhibition curators Anne Madarasz, Leslie Przybylek, and Emily Ruby to reveal fascinating stories about Pittsburgh-area women who have made the region and the world a better place.
From the Western Pa. women who played in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League to the “real life” Rosie the Riveters who helped win World War II, the curators will share how these stories are brought to life in A Woman’s Place, and how the exhibition came together from conception to installation.
The program includes a cash bar and Q&A session. Buy your tickets here: https://www.heinzhistorycenter.org/event/cocktails-conversations-a-womans-place/
